Thank You for checking out the POP Up Vintage Shop Blog! For those of you who don't know, these Pop Up Shops were one-day-only shopping events held in Boston and New York in the Summer/Fall of 2006. As of February 2nd 2007, we have opened an official permanant retail shop called ALTER. Alter carries clothing and accessories for men and women (new and vintage of course!) and is located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Check out ALTER.

Ladies and gentlemen: It is with hyper excitement that I tell you about our latest venture. This winter Roy & Tommy (PopUpShop co-creators, and fashion design duo) will be opening our very own STORE! We are calling it ALTER (as in alteration, not a church Altar). Alter will be in Greenpoint, Brooklyn (NY). We will have www.alterbrooklyn.com up as soon as we can, so stay tuned.

Does your sister collect handbags? You can probably buy three or four beautiful handmade bags at the POP UP SHOP for the amount of money you would spend on one Kate Spade bag... and it would be much more stylish! Most importantly, shouldn't you buy youself gifts and sip on champagne instead of pushing a shopping cart around Target? We think so.

BACK TO BOSTON! OCTOBER 15th 2006

Attention Bostonians! Your favorite Pop Up Vintage Shop is comming back! We will be at Design of Boston Salon (285 Causeway Street, North End) on Sunday October 15th from 12:00-8:00 PM. Get there early for the best selection. At the last sale we pretty much sold out of the BEST jewelry 2 hours into it! We will have lots of treasures for men and women, at really stunning prices! Pop Up Vintage Shop at Galapagos this past Sunday was fantastic! We had a gorgeous crowd throughout the whole day. Thanks to everyone who came out, we hope you found some treasures. We are already planning a POP UP HOLIDAY SHOP at Galapagos which will hopefully take place in December! Details will be posted on here as they happen.
